The
points have been calculated and the wait is over as this
week we can reveal the OUR DOGS/Pedigree Masterfoods Top
Breeders for 2003.
Overall top of the breeders for the eleventh consecutive
year are Stephen and Patsy Hollings (Gunalt) with an impressive
50 points. They topped the Gundog group and then went a
stage further winning the top breeder award top winning
kennel of Weimaraners.
Mrs C Dare (Darsoms) gained 30 points with her Longhaired
Dachshund and headed the Hound group.
The Toy group sees a draw with two breeds on 31 points -
Mr & Mrs Hornby’s Bramerita Longcoat Chihua huas
and the Yakee Pekingese of the Easdon and Martin partnership.
Top honours in the terrier group with 34 points were the
Norfolk Terriers of Mrs C Thompson-Morgan whilst in the
Utility group, for the second year in succession, Mr Ken
Sinclair (Araki) gained 41 points in Tibetan Terriers.
Mr & Mrs J Krall of the Jafrak Giant Schnauzers was
the winner in the Working group with 36 points.
Finally the Pastoral group top breeder for 2003 is Miss
Linda Collins of the Domburg Tervueren kennel with 44 points.
All those successful in the competition will be invited
to advertise in our special top breeder feature in February
2004.
