AKC
OFFERS PARENT CLUB CONFERENCE CD-ROM
TO PARENT CLUBS AND DELEGATES
New
York, NY - The American Kennel Club is pleased to announce
that the permanent record from the first AKC Parent Club Conference
has been placed on CD-ROM for distribution to parent clubs
and delegates. The CD contents include a transcript record
of all the sessions held at the conference, as well as the
PowerPoint presentations and video clips that were part of
each presentation.
The Parent Club Conference was held in Cincinnati, Ohio, on
October 25th-27th, with approximately 300 attendees including
8 AKC Board members and 72 Parent Club Presidents. In total,
137 Parent Clubs were represented.
The CD was sent to the Corresponding Secretary of every AKC
Parent Club in addition to all conference attendees. Additional
copies will be distributed to all AKC Delegates.
Clubs may freely copy and distribute the contents of the CD
as desired, allowing for a continuation of the information
exchange that made the first event such a success.
"We are pleased to be able to provide a permanent record
of the inaugural Parent Club Conference for the fancy,"
said Nick D'Altilio, Chief Operating Officer. "We know
it will allow for much of the information that was covered
at the conference to be shared beyond the attendees and will
be a great resource for Parent Clubs' Boards of Directors,
Committee members and National Specialty Show Chairs."
