Obituary - Mr Terry Hadley

Terry Hadley who died of a heart attack on Saturday January 11th was the epitome of dog training.

A very private man, he trained more Working Trial Champions than anyone else in history, of several breeds. I only saw his most recent one, a black Labrador called Mace whose work took your breath away. He was confined to a wheelchair about a year ago and it was in many ways the end of life as he knew it.

His passing is very sad for those of us who would have been glad to sit at his feet and gather any pearls of wisdom he would drop and we would only hope we could understand them. Also, he was a very nice man.
