South Eastern Hound Club celebrates 21 years

THE SOUTH Eastern Hound Club will be celebrating their 21st anniversary by inviting all hound enthusiasts to bring some ‘fun’ into their dog showing and join in the 21st anniversary open show, which is being held on Sunday 31st August at Bewbush Leisure Centre, Crawley, West Sussex – a superb venue for hounds with all rings outside on level grass playing fields with adjoining car parking and leisure centre facilities in case of inclement weather.

The club is organising a ‘garden party theme’ and all hound breeds are asked to support this by having a gazebo near the ringside. The SEHC will be offering celebratory refreshements and enthusiasts are encouraged to join in the atmosphere. Free stand space for hound, breed and rescue clubs.

To make this a family event, additional classes are being scheduled for veterans and junior handlers. There will be specials for all exhibitors, champagne for best in show and reserve and also for best puppy and reserve and £10 and 35 for the winners of the reserve and best of breed competition. There will be no increase in fees and free entry for dogs entered NFC.

Exhibitors are invited to join in the fun and help celebrate the SEHCs 21st anniversary in style! Schedules have been posted and will be available at Windsor and by phoning 020 8304 6976 or write to the show manager SEHC, 5 The Beeches, Sole Street, Gravesend, Kent DA13 9BT or e-mail sehc.sally@btinternet.com
