NCDL welcomes Chris Laurence

The NCDL has announced that Chris Laurence QVRM TD BVSc MRCVS has joined the charity as Veterinary Director.

 Chris will take over where previous Veterinary Director Paul DeVile, who recently retired, left off and will continue to be in charge of all veterinary decisions within the charity. He will also be putting forward the charity's views and opinions on burning dog issue and legislation such as DDA, the Animal Welfare Bill and Dog Identification Group. Chris says, "I am looking forward to the new challenge of working at the NCDL.

I already know many of the staff well and so the transition shouldn't be too difficult. I can't wait to get to grips with the new working practices and to making a real difference to the welfare of the dogs in our care"

Chris Laurence was previously Chief Veterinary Officer at the RSPCA and is President of Bath C S championship show.
