SPECIALIST COTSWOLD agents, Butler Sherborn, have adopted The Blue Cross as its charity of the year.
Butler Sherborn, which has offices in Burford, Tetbury and Stow-on-the-Wold, is hoping to raise considerable sums for the charity through customer communications and local advertising.
Since Butler Sherborn was founded 12 years ago, the firm has provided a comprehensive professional service specialising in estate and farm business management, and property consultancy. Its estate agency arm specialises in the sale, valuation and purchase of country houses, cottages, farms and estates as well as providing a highly regarded lettings and residential management department.
Founding partner, David Sherborn-Hoare, said: At Butler Sherborn, we are committed to supporting charities with local connections. Were delighted that our partnership with The Blue Cross will help raise vital funds for the charitys network of animal hospitals and adoption centres.
Tony Samuel, director of marketing and fundraising at The Blue Cross, said: As a charity, The Blue Cross welcomes the support given to us by companies like Butler Sherborn. Moving home can be one of the most demanding events the majority of us will ever have to prepare for, and it can be equally disruptive for pets in the family. We are thrilled to be associated with such a well-respected local estate and land agent, in promoting the message of responsible pet ownership.
The Blue Cross animal centre in Burford is one of a network of centres across the country which rehome thousands of abandoned animals each year. The charity also has four animal hospitals that provide veterinary care for the pets of people who cannot afford private vets fees.
