New
Director of Veterinary Services appointed for PDSA
PDSA,
Britain's leading veterinary charity, is pleased to announce
the appointment of Mrs Jan McLoughlin as Director of Veterinary
Services.
Mrs McLoughlin will take up her new responsibilities for the
management and development of the PDSA PetAid service on April
1 2003. Most recently Business Development Director at PDSA
and previously a General Manager with Northern Foods, Mrs McLoughlin
has extensive experience of multi-site operations management,
communications and employee relations.
Confirming the appointment Mrs Marilyn Rydström, Director
General, said, "Jan is motivational, energetic and results-orientated.
As she has already shown, her knowledge and experience will
be of immense benefit to the charity, in particular helping
to guarantee the on-going success of our vital PetAid services.
I am delighted to welcome her as a permanent member of the PDSA
senior management team."
Mrs McLoughlin added, "PDSA is a remarkable charity with
a dedicated workforce providing a high quality veterinary service
to more than one million sick and injured animals each year.
