Now
its first president for IKC
There
was a presentation to the President of the Irish Kennel Club
at 8.30 p.m. on Friday, 14th February 2003 at The Engineers
Club, 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
The presentation was to mark the retirement of Mr. Tom Creamer
who has been the Chairman and first President of the Irish Kennel
Club for the past 16 years. His association with the Irish Kennel
Club goes back considerably longer than that but his time as
Chairman/President has been crowned by the building of the Irish
Kennel Clubs own National Show Centre at Cloghran. This
project has been one to which he has given generously of his
time and devotion and the successful completion of which is
largely due to his tireless efforts.
He will also be remembered as a great ambassador for Ireland
and the Irish Kennel Club around the world at the many meetings
of the F.C.I. which he has attended and where he is held in
very high esteem.
