Supporters’ Charity
A Comprehensive report on the Contest of Champions Show Dogs
organised each year by the Canine Supporters Charity has already
appeared in the dog press, so the Charity is pleased to be able
to announce that, despite an unexpected loss of sponsorship,
the financial target was reached, thanks to the generosity of
everyone present. The nominated beneficiaries will receive generous
donations towards their valuable work to dogs.
The Charity wishes to apologise to all who attended the event
for the rather disappointing meal. However, the officers met
recently with organisations manager of the hotel and received
firm assurances that next years meal will be of a high standard.
As in previous years, the 2004 Contest will be held on the first
Saturday in April when it is planned to stage another prestigious
evening in the dog show calendar.
