CRUFTS 2004
OVERSEAS QUALIFICATION
4th March - Toy & Utility 5th March - Gundog 6th March - Working & Pastoral 7th March - Terrier & Hound
The Kennel Club has liased with overseas Kennel Clubs and nominated specific awards at particular Shows in each of the overseas countries entitled to take part in the UK PETS Travel Scheme, as qualification for Crufts 2004.
The qualifying dogs will be the winners of the following classes:
Junior Dog Junior Bitch Best Dog Best Bitch
Therefore, four dogs of each breed will qualify for Crufts 2004 at each nominated Show. This will apply to any breed that is recognised by the Kennel Club. Crufts will provide award cards for each of these winners (to be presented by the organisers of each nominated Show) and a copy of the card will be required with each entry for Crufts to verify the qualification.

OVERSEAS CRUFTS 2004 QUALIFYING SHOWS (TO DATE)
The Kennel Club for each country has been contacted to nominate one major Show as their representative Show. Qualification for Crufts is not limited to residents of the particular country therefore a dog not qualifying at its own National Show could endeavour to qualify at a Show in another country.

In order to show your dog in the UK (and at Crufts), your dog must either be already registered with the Kennel Club or you must have obtained an Authority to Compete (ATC) number from the Kennel Club. If you would like to receive further information, please complete your details and tick the relevant box at the back of this leaflet (please allow 28 days for processing).
N.B. Dogs with cropped ears are NOT eligible to compete at any Kennel Club licensed event.
The Kennel Club would like to notify readers that potential overseas competitors for Crufts 2003 are required to submit their Authority To Compete (ATC) applications before the 29th November 2002. This will enable their applications to be processed before the Crufts entry closing date of 3rd January 2003.
