Earlier this month, Mr Tony Powell of Knaresborough, North Yorks, the former secretary of the Pointer Club, was arrested and charged with the theft of £18,145.98p from the club. he was also charged with four counts of false accounting and with a further nine counts being ‘taken into consideration.’

He appeared at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 15th April when the hearing was adjourned until Thursday May 6th
