The Waterside Action Group is horrified that P&O will do nothing more to end the shipments of puppies despite a 1600 signature petition.

Ken McKie on behalf of WAG said, ‘it is established that many shipments are illegal and their own staff were able to describe them so where is there such a difficulty to end this? When travelling by ferry we would ask all our supporters to remember this stance by the company. We will not end on this note and will continue our many protests until P&O relent!’

Plans are now underway to hold more protests at the ports.
