Blackpool President Mr Jack Bennett has resigned only a few weeks after taking over from Vince Hogan at the club’s AGM in November. He had been secretary of Blackpool championship show for many years. He has also resigned as a member of Kennel Club after 33 years.

Bath secretary Gillian Waring has also retired and the society’s chairman Keith Nathan has taken over as secretary. Miss Waring who is to go and live in France has severed the family’s 44 year association with show.

Changes to the structure at Bannerdown Benching are also announced.

Darlington championship show has also announced a new chairman in Mrs Ruth Burgess following a recent committee meeting.
