WE ARE sorry to record the passing of the Irish Setter Sh Ch Caspians Intrepid at the age of 11. Owned by Jackie Lorrimer he was bred by Mike and Sue Oakley, being born on 17th April 1993 by Sh Ch Danaway Debonair ex Sh Ch Caspians Night Music. The breed record holder for the number of CCs won, he gained his show champion title at the age of two and went on to amass a total of 77 CCs, his outstanding record also included best in show at Crufts 1999.

He had gone on to achieve an outstanding record as a stud, having sired, to date, 19 show champions and has been the winner of the Top Sire (all breeds) competition twice.
