Members of the SKC have received a calling notice to a Special General Meeting, the third inside a year, to approve proposed amendments to the Constitution and Rules of the Scottish Kennel Club.
The meeting will now be held on Sunday January 16th. in Airdrie at the Sir John Wilson Town Hall.
The amendments, 32 in all, sent members scurrying to their rules and regulations when announced in November. They reveal the extent of the plans to avoid the kind of constitutional crisis and problems they experienced as a club towards the end of 2003 and earlier this year.
Members were also advised that the plans to use the Electoral Reform Society as scruntineers for the next Executive Council Elections have been ruled ‘unconstitutional’.
