New
York, NY – The American Kennel Club is pleased to
announce four internal promotions all effective immediately:

Keith Frazier has been named Assistant Vice President, Audit
and Control. Frazier has been with the AKC for eight years
and has held various positions within the company including
Assistant Director and Director of AKC/CAR. Most recently
he was a Senior Consultant in AKC’s Internal Consulting
Group. Frazier holds a BS/BA in Marketing from East Carolina
University. He resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife Shannon.
They are expecting their first child this spring.

Connie Pearcy has been named Assistant Vice President, Internal
Consulting Group. Pearcy began at AKC in 1998. She started
as a Programmer, was promoted to Principle Software Engineer,
and served as Manager of Database Services and Network Operations.
Most recently, she was the Group Leader for AKC's Internal
Consulting Group. Pearcy is a graduate of Duke University.
She lives in Durham, NC with her partner, Tanja and her
two children.

Robin Stansell has been promoted to Assistant Vice President,
Event Operations. Stansell has been involved in the world
of purebred dogs for over 25 years. He owned and showed
Bulldogs and French Bulldogs, and has held every club position
within specialty and all-breed clubs including National
Specialty Show Chair. Prior to his employment with AKC,
Stansell was an AKC-licensed judge of the Non-Sporting Group,
Toy Poodles and Junior Showmanship. Stansell began at AKC
as an Executive Field Representative and was promoted to
Director of Conformation Rules and Policy, followed by a
promotion to Director of Event Operations. He resides in
Raleigh, NC.

Tom Sharp has been named to Assistant Vice President, Compliance.
Sharp joined AKC over seven years ago. For the majority
of this time, he worked within the AKC DNA Operations department
being promoted from Manager to Assistant Director to Director
of DNA Operations. Most recently, he held the position of
Senior Consultant for AKC’s Internal Consulting Group.
Sharp holds an MBA from the University North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. He lives in Cary, NC with his wife, Ashley
and their two daughters.
