Martyn and Margarita Ford’s Irish Water Spaniel Cuboglach Woodland Brown, handled by Martyn pictured with judge Mrs Zena Thorn-Andrews. Owner bred by Priority Paddy Jack of Duwuna at Blakelyn out of Cuboglach Dusky Heath, ‘Woody’ has had an impressive show career in the last 12 months. Unbeaten as a puppy and in all breed classes, he has won four best puppy in shows, one BIS at Ashbourne CS Open show and four Reserve CCs

Bert Easdon and Philip Martin, no strangers by any means to the Purina Pro Plan/Dog World ‘Pup of the Year’ finals, managed also to qualify two puppies for the 2003 final but not from the same litter. They were the Pekingese bitch Yakee’s Little Blond Number and the dog Yakee Coalition Forces pictured here.

Martyn and Margarita Ford’s Irish Water Spaniel Cuboglach Woodland Brown was the winner of the Purina Pro Plan/dog World ‘Pup of the Year’ final held last week.
