Zena and four Drakesleat Champions running in the fields at the kennels

ZENA Thorn-Andrews gained an incredible 100th UK champion at Windsor recently with her Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund, Drakesleat Black Marks, the first time a British kennel to achieved such a number.

The other champions consist of Miniature Wires, Irish Wolfhounds, a Greyhound and a Field Spaniel.

The Drakesleat kennel was started by Zena, and she is now often partnered by Jeff Horswell, who has made up 17 of the champions.

Drakesleat Black Marks won her crowning CC under Jeremy Goddard.

The kennel also has an impressive 42 group wins under its belt, as well as breed record holders, Bests in show and Res BIS at Crufts in 1993.
