PRO Dogs ‘Friends for Life’ scheme adopted
At
a well-attended Extra-ordinary General Meeting held at their
Ditton, Kent offices on 25 May 2004, the proposed changes to
the Constitution, suggested by the Charity Commission, were
carried by a substantial majority.
This means that the PRO Dogs hospital/home visiting scheme ‘Friends
for Life’ has now been formally accepted as a further activity
option for PRO Dogs members, extending the Educators Scheme
where owners and 'screened' dogs visit schools and youth groups
as an educational exercise for future dog owners. Members who
might be interested in joining ‘Friends for Life’
