
Peter Burton, Chairman of Trustees for Wood Green Animal Shelters has been awarded the Civil Order of the British Empire this weekend in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Mr. Burton, pictured above, has been the chairman for Wood Green Animal Shelters, a national animal welfare organisation since 1989 and has shown true dedication to the work of the charity throughout this time.
The OBE has been awarded to Mr. Burton, pictured above, for his service to animal welfare which has been truly tireless over the past 15 years.
Peter Burton said of the OBE "I'm very delighted to accept this honour and
very proud that I've been awarded this OBE. Many will know that the aim of
Wood Green Animal Shelters is to be the best in the field of animal welfare and I am extremely privileged to be associated with such a truly well run charity."
