On Tuesday 24th February 2004 between 7-10pm a white trailer belonging to Colchester & DCS was stolen from the Chairman & Secretary's front garden in Copford, Essex. The trailer contained all of the society's show equipment which included about 6 x 33ft long rubber mats, table mats, approx. 80 traffic cones, buckets, rope, scales, measures and the club’s banner.
