Take a fundraising stride with the Guide Dogs' Paw Trek

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is hosting its 14th Great Paw Trek at Longleat House, near Warminster, Wiltshire, on Sunday, 23 May, and is appealing to dogs and their owners throughout the country to sign-up to join the fundraising stride for charity.

During the event, taking place between 11am and 4pm, there will be a mass sponsored walk, dog agility demonstration, dog show, stalls, lucky dip, jazz band, treasure map - and an opportunity to meet some real guide dogs and trainee puppies.

Free entry is available for anyone taking part in the mass sponsored walk.

Bridgett Whittle, Guide Dogs' fundraising officer says: "Paw Trek 2004 is an event that should not be missed by dog lovers and their families. With it costing £10 a day to breed, train and support each guide dog, every footstep and paw-stride will make a real difference to blind and partially sighted people."
