PRO-Dogs on duty at Crufts 2004!

Breed: Many thanks from PRO Dogs Charity to Horley and District Show Society (22 February) which raised more than £180.00 through a special Charity Class and a Companion Dog Show held during that event.

Congratulations to Mr Carter and Miniature Schnauzer Acasia Silver Buttons for winning the PRO Dogs Breed Stakes class at Horley and District Show and to Tilita Rosettes for kindly sponsoring the class.

Obedience: Thanks to Butchers Pet Care for agreeing to generously sponsor the PRO Dogs Test C Obedience Stakes Classes this year.

Sponsored Down-a-thon: All readers are invited to participate in the now well-established sponsored "DOWNATHON", which is part of the All About Dogs show at Brentwood, Essex to be held at 12 noon on Sunday 9 May. All dogs (trained and otherwise) take part in a timed 5 minute down-stay from which the Charity hopes to benefit; it is hoped that an even greater number will take part this year in an attempt to enter the record books. Entries on the day at Brentwood, or sponsor forms available from PRO Dogs at the address below. All dogs satisfactorily completing their "Downathon" will receive a certificate and a small treat kindly sponsored by Nestle Purina Pro Plan. Anyone raising over £100 will receive a beautiful piece of engraved glassware kindly donated by Signature Engraved Glassware.

Sponsored Down: For dog clubs (especially obedience clubs) whose members cannot attend All About Dogs, please would you hold your own five minute sponsored down for PRO Dogs?

This can be held on a club night, or perhaps in conjunction with another event you are organising. Sponsorship forms with your club name on available from PRO Dogs office.

Everyone taking part will receive a certificate and dog treat and if anyone individually raises over £100 in sponsorship they will receive a beautiful piece of engraved glassware kindly donated by Signature Engraved Glassware.
