Assessments at Southern Counties show

The Kennel Club will require all new applications for first time CC appointments from July 2005 to have passed the Rules and Regulations examination and attended an approved Conformation and Movement Seminar.

All applicants will have to have taken a 'hands on' assessment that covers 'Points', 'Structural Balance' and 'Conventional Measurements' of the dog.

The assessment may only carried out by Approved Trainers for the Structure and Movement seminars who have been themselves been trained in the method of assessment. The assessment is not breed specific and avoids specific breed terminology.

Southern Counties will make facilities available for these assessments to take place during the show.
