Dogs Trust Chief Executive, Clarissa Baldwin, comments:
“We are delighted to present the Dogs Trust “We Are Dog Friendly” Award to these venues. They all go out of their way to ensure that owners can share their spare time with their dogs and continue the wonderful bond between man and canine.
“What is particularly great about these awards is that they have been nominated by the dog lovers themselves and we will now be using all this great information to launch the FREE Dog Friendly Venues search engine on our website this week.”
Anyone wanting to find a venue which caters for their four legged friends can now simply log onto the Dogs Trust website www.dogstrust.org.uk and search for dog friendly bars, pubs, hotels, B&Bs, guest houses, tourist attractions and days out by county. As an interactive search engine, venues are recommended by dog lovers for dog lovers and people will be able to continue to recommend venues and suggest new ones, building a great resource for all owners. Every venue nominated also receives a “We Are Dog Friendly” window sticker.
