Thomas Jakkel has had to withdraw from his appointment to judge Australian Shepherds and Australian Cattle Dogs at Southern Counties championship show on June 6th.

However, Wendy Slater, herself from Australia, was delighted to be offered the chance to step in and the committee is very grateful to her. Mrs Slater has judged numerous Cattle Dog specialties in Australia and also the breeds at Semi Specialties, Working Dog Clubs etc, (our Pastoral). She has also judged both breeds in many FCI countries, including the major Helsinki show, Eurodog in Belgium (both of which had big entries of Aussie Shepherds) and recently at St Gallen .
