Obituary: Mrs Sally Tomlinson

IT IS with great sadness that I have to write to say that my friend, Sally Tomlinson, has died.
Sally’s illness had been very short and very aggressive and throughout it all she remained the dignified lady she was.

Sally and her daughter Lesley have bred some beautiful Burmese, and I hope Lesley will continue to do so. Sally was a well known breeder of Bearded Collies and Affenpinschers. Along with Lesley, she was a very respected dog judge. Just before she died, Lesley heard that their stud had gained top stud dog, and with only a few shows left I hope he retains this title as it would be very fitting for her memory.

Sally was perhaps the kindest person I ever had the privilege to know, she would help anyone who needed it, she was truly selfless putting others first and never said a bad word of anyone.
My thoughts and sympathy go out to Lesley, Gerald and family at this difficult time.

Instead of flowers, donations to Cancer Research would be most welcome.
