Pets prof for university

Professor Danny Mills of Lincoln University has become Britain’s first professor of animal psychiatry. He will study the behaviour of dogs, cats and horses to see how their anxieties can be solved.

Professor Mills runs a clinic for animals with behaviour problems. Among the subjects he will be investigating will be separation anxiety and car travel phobias. As part of the new biological sciences department at Lincoln the university offers a three year honours degree in animal behaviour science.
