Dog lovers listen up! If you've ever wondered why your dog chews up your shoes, whether your dog understands you when you shout their name, or why you just can't get Fido to sit then help is at hand!

Whether you have a pampered Poodle, an energetic Irish setter, an inquisitive Bassett Hound or a much-loved mongrel then bring come on down to the Discover Dogs event at Earls Court on November 13th or 14th. There are numerous competitions to view from Best Trick, to the Pal Scruffts Family Dog and the Companion Dog of the Year.

If you are thinking about getting a dog (or your children are nagging you about it), there will be over 180 breeds of dogs at the event for you to meet. There will be a special focus this year on some of the best British breeds such as the Sussex Spaniel, Dandie Dinmont Terrier and King Charles Spaniel, all whose numbers have diminished in recent years.

Visitors can talk to expert owners and breed representatives about everything from training to grooming as well as being amazed by the agility and skills of dogs from all walks of life,
f rom the Metropolitan Police Dogs to Assistance Dogs, Crufts winners and mixed breeds. Many dog charities will also be at the event.

Annette Conn, Animal Behaviourist specialist and Phil Buckley, Kennel Club will be live online between 4pm and 5pm on Monday 1st November to answer all your dog-related questions.
