The American Kennel Club is pleased to announce that John McCartney of Hawley, PA will be joining the staff as an Executive Conformation Field Representative effective October 11, 2004.

McCartney has over 30 years involvement in the sport of purebred dogs. Along with his varied experience as a breeder, exhibitor (conformation and obedience), professional handler, club member and officer, McCartney has earned the respect of his peers, his clients and the judging community.

“John's extensive background in the sport will make him a great asset,” said Darrell Hayes, Assistant Vice President, Judging Operations. “I am proud that such a well-regarded member of the fancy is joining the AKC team.”
