I and my sons Stephen and Richard would like to thank everyone in the world of dogs who sent cards, letters, and flowers on the death of my husband Mike Burdon.

It was quite overwhelming receiving day after day such tributes, particularly as I had no idea Mike had been so well known amongst the dog fraternity and I am sure Mike himself would have been so surprised at the response to the news of his death.

Life will never be the same without Mike as we both so enjoyed being with dogs and dog people but receiving their kind words gave me much comfort during a very difficult time
