How much is that doggy in the window?
Elton,Tom and Orlando show us their doggy style

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is putting the four-legged friends of the rich and famous up for auction. Not real-life Rover, but celebrity creations using fibreglass dog sculptures.

As such a unique event, Dog Parade has got London in a furry frenzy. Celebrities, fashion designers and corporate supporters have all pondered over a fibreglass dog sculpture, in order to create the perfect pooch.

Among the many celebrities, Sir Elton John, Jodie Kidd, Orlando Bloom and Tom Cruise have all dabbled in design to produce the most desirable doggy. Their efforts will be up against those of fashion gurus Vivienne Westwood, Patrick Cox and Red or Dead who have also put their skills to the test in order to raise much needed funds for the Home.

All their dogs, amongst others, will be up for grabs at the exclusive In & Out Club in St James' Square, London on Wednesday 14 September. The glamorous auction event will play host to a wealth of stars who are hoping to get their paws on one of the Dog Parade mascots. Celebrities invited to attend include Victoria Beckham, Robbie Williams, Elizabeth Hurley and Jonathan Ross.

The general public are also welcome to bid for their favourite dog before the event at www.dogparade.co.uk. The website is also hosting a competition to give away two VIP tickets to the event where the lucky winners will be able to mooch with the pooches and rub shoulders with the stars, asking people to make a £3 donation and be entered in the draw by texting Battersea to 80806.

To date, ‘dogs’ for which you can bid include Elton John, Orlando Bloom & Tom Cruise, Jodie Kidd for Pedigree Chum, and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
