Our Dogs has learnt that as from 2006, Nestle Purina Petcare will takeover the sponsorship of the popular autumn show, Midland Counties which is held at Bingley Hall in Stafford.

Speaking to Our Dogs, show secretary Mrs  Margaret Everton said: "This decision was not made lightly and we made sure that exhibitors would not lose out on this change and hope to have a flawless changeover, after many years of good support from Masterfoods".

Mary Sharrock, Head of Communications for Nestle Purina Petcare, said: “ naturally we were delighted to respond positively to the approach from the committee of Midland Counties and look forward to building a great relationship in the future. The Pro Plan team is very much looking forward to the event in 2006"

Purina currently support the Working and Pastoral Breeds shows, both the National event, and Scottish show but this is the first time they have sponsored an All Breed General Championship Show.
