Spare blankets wanted

A charity is appealing for blankets for dogs at its Warwickshire re-homing centre as cold weather arrives.

Dogs Trust Kenilworth said it wanted to make sure the dogs were warm with the arrival of snow in much of the UK.

Sandra Wilson, Kenilworth re-homing centre manager, said this winter was supposed to be particularly cold.

She said: "We want to make sure we have lots of nice, soft, warm, snuggly blankets for the dogs so that they are all cosy this Christmas."

Dogs Trust cares for over 12,500 dogs every year through 15 centres.
