IT HAS been announced that in 2007 the Irish Kennel Club will hold its annual International Show in June, thus breaking with the tradition which has linked it with St. Patrick’s Day since 1921.

Several times in the last few years it has not been convenient to hold the Show on 17th March and a date as close as posssible has been chosen. Now the decision to move to the June Bank Holiday weekend has been made.

It is still intended that St. Patrick's Day will be devoted to an event to be organised by the Irish Kennel Club.
