A MAN from Warwickshire has been fined for letting his dog foul on grass. Michael Hinton of Nuneaton, was fined £50 and told to pay £75 costs by magistrates after he failed to pay a fixed penalty fine.

The prosecution was brought by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council - who said it was hoped the prosecution would reinforce the authority's zero tolerance stance against irresponsible dog owners.

The court heard that Hinton’s Rottweiler fouled on the grass at Abbey Gardens, Nuneaton, and that Hinton failed to clean up the mess.
