Birmingham Dog Show Society Ltd continue to support the Kennel Club Group Judges’ Development Programme and the third in the series of Seminars for the Working breeds will be held on April 5th/6th 2005 (Tuesday/Wednesday) at Canine Academy, Tollerton.
At the request of the Delegates at the previous seminar the breeds to be undertaken in April are Leonbergers, Giant Schnauzers, on the first day and Bullmastiffs and Mastiffs on the second. The speakers and assessors are all in place. Once again we are grateful to the breed clubs for their support and for those offering to bring dogs.
To qualify to attend Judges should already award Challenge Certificates to three breeds in the Working group or be approved to judge another group and perhaps award CCs to two breeds in the Working group or are BIS judges at Championship level.
Previous Delegates and any new applicants should apply to the co-ordinator for a programme and booking form. Fees are £70 to attend both days and £50 if attendance is required one day only. This includes lunch and refreshments.
Look and Learn visitors are welcome - i.e. attendance at the seminar without undertaking assessments at a cost of £25 per day including lunch and refreshments. Delegates receive certificates before they depart from the seminar indicating their grades in accordance with the KC system.
Details/booking forms are available from Annette Oliver, co-ordinator on behalf of Birmingham Dog Show Society Ltd., Whilton Marina, nr Daventry, NN11 5NH, Tel: 07767-365482 or 07866-473510.
