Crufts attracts 21,432 dogs

With the announcement of the Crufts entry figures, the show retains its status as the largest dog show in the world. The figures remain stable when compared to last year’s with 23717 entries (2004 – 23729 entries) from 21432 dogs (2004 – 21622 dogs).

Said Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club Secretary; ‘Despite the NEC traffic problems at last year’s show, we are delighted that entries have held up this year – the total still being an increase on Crufts 2003.

‘The Kennel Club recently announced that overall show entries for 2004 were up by 10,000 on the previous year. Let’s hope that with a strong Crufts entry, this trend will continue through 2005.’
