Members of the Kennel Club’s Accredited Breeder Scheme now have their own newsletter. The aim of the newsletter is to provide members with up-to-date information on the new scheme including information on advertising campaigns.

The first issue, posted just before Christmas, contains a welcome message from the Kennel Club Health and Information Executive Dr Jeff Sampson, as well as a question and answer forum with four members of the scheme. Also featured within the newsletter are comments that have been received to date from people who have already bought puppies from Accredited Breeders.

Said Dr Jeff Sampson; "Since the launch of the scheme to breeders at Crufts last year we have enrolled 470 members, representing over 120 different breeds. We launched the scheme to the public at Discover Dogs and have been delighted by the response it has so far received."
