WANT A fun day out with your dog and help raise money at the same time? Westmorland CA, Lancaster CS and Morecambe and Heysham CS have organised a Companion dog show on Saturday, February 12 to do just this.

Backed by some of the best known local businesses, the organisers are hoping to secure enough goodies so that, in addition to the dogs show, there will be a luxury raffle, raffles, auctions and tombola.

They also have the backing of the local radio station, Bay Radio, and are hoping to arrange a visit by the Mayor of Lancaster.

Amongst other goodies on offer are a cruise on Lake Windermere, a fish and chip supper; Petcetera vouchers, free golf lessons, DVD, microwave, TV and free facials/pedicure.

The venue is Salt Ayre Sports Centre in Lancaster, and this has been provided free of charge for the event.

So why not go along and make a difference - all proceeds will go directly to the fund.
