Members of Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs had cause to celebrate recently after receiving a grant of £5,000 from the National Lottery’s Awards for All programme.

The grant will allow the group to purchase much needed safety and communications equipment.

Group Chairman, Daryl Toogood, said: "This award means a huge amount to a charity as new as ours. Radio communications and personal protective equipment, for both dog and handler, are essential for us to be able to continue searching for the missing vulnerable people of Berkshire."
