Wagg’s red letter winner

Dry dog food specialist Wagg Foods made Michelle Monks’ day when she scooped the top £250 ‘Red Letter day’ prize in a draw to mark the manufacturer’s first appearance at Crufts for twenty years.

Michelle, from High Wycombe, the proud owner of Jess, a “mad but lovable” three-year old White German Shepherd, is a regular visitor to the UK’s biggest dog show, but had “ never won anything “ before she bought a bag of Wagg Complete and was encouraged to enter the draw for another big day out.

Red Letter Day vouchers offer the opportunity to experience a wide range of exciting activities that the lucky owners may otherwise never get the chance to do. Spurning adrenaline trips like bungee jumping, sky-diving or Formula One racing however, Michelle, a keen horsewoman, has opted instead to use her voucher to enjoy a riding holiday in the wilds of Scotland.

Tom Page, director at Wagg Foods, whose Wagg Complete dry food brand is the fastest-growing dog food brand in the value sector. said: “We’re used to offering dogs an exciting range of options, so it’s great to be able to give their owners an opportunity to try something more interesting too!“
