Bullmastiff found

A Bullmastiff has been found on Saddleworth Moor. Approx 2-4 yrs old and an apricot male, he is castrated (or undescended), in good condition and although it was raining heavily at the time he was picked up was not dirty or even very wet leading the finder to believe he had not been out long. His nails appear to have been clipped recently and he is of pleasant personality. He gets along with other dogs, even males, he was found on the moor just off junction 22 of the M62.

This area is very bleak without houses and is not a part of the moor known for dog walking although there is a possibility that he has been dumped it is also possible that he has been stolen with the intent to breed from him, then discarded when it was realized he was castrated.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Mel Rushmore of Fireside Bull Breeds rescue and Advisory Service on 01204 705951.
