Double glory for Great Britain at BSD Agility World Championships

The Kennel Club would like to congratulate the Great Britain team that has recently returned from Aue in Eastern Germany, having won both the Team and Individual competitions at the Belgian Shepherd Dog World Championships.

They beat high quality competition to pick up the awards, including several competitors who were placed in the main FCI World Championships

The Team competition was won by Brenda Hollis and Bailey (Baudwin Cappamore), Gill Raddings and Kyte (Minka Independence Kyte) and Andy Brown and Skye (Heidron Chasing Stormy Skye), by less than one second over 6 runs.

Mike Bacon and Jack (Jack of Diamonds) also competed in the team event. Three of the dogs are still in Novice at Kennel Club competitions, with only Baudwin Cappamore having won out and now in Advanced, making their win a great achievement.

Andy Brown and Skye then went on to win the Individual title by just under 2 seconds, completing a great double for the British team. The other members of the team were Alan Smith and Jazz (Colzeta Hocus Pocus), Louise Challis and River (Louandi Bonnet River), Anne Challis and Timber Louandi Creole) and Ian Watts and Blitz (Vapresto Awesome Blizzard).

The team would like to thank everyone involved in helping them to their success, in particular Helen Brown, ‘Tuff-Stuff’, Reliance Coaches and everyone who supported the Spring At Shuttleworth show.
