The Kennel Club is looking for canine events that would like to host heats for this year’s Scruffts Crossbreed Family Dog of the Year competition, with the final taking place at Discover Dogs at Earls Court Two, London, on Sunday 13 November..

Companion Dog shows and other large canine events are invited to apply to host a Scruffts heat, which will comprise four individual classes. These classes are Child’s Best Friend, Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog and Golden Oldie.

Those interested in holding a Scruffts heat should be able to accommodate an entry figure of 75 dogs or more, and hosts will receive an organisers’ pack containing rosettes, Scruffts branding ring tape, banners and registration forms. The Kennel Club Press Office will also offer promotional support for all events at which Scruffts heats are scheduled.
