A pedigree Mastiff from Aberdeen has embarked on a healthy eating plan combining a new dried pet food with herbal and homeopathic remedies in a bid to reduce his massive 22-stone waistline.

Zollie, one of the country’s fattest dogs, is one of the first volunteers to try the new holistic diet developed by Ayrshire businessman, George Burns. Owner, Elaine Knight, who owns 23 other Mastiffs, is keeping her fingers crossed that Zollie’s new diet will help him become leaner and healthier as a result.
