TRAINEE POLICE dog handlers from Singapore are coming to the UK to learn how to do the job.

Two trainee dog instructors and six trainee handlers will take part in a two-month course at the Surrey Police Dog Training School. After the course, Surrey Police's trainee dogs will then go to Singapore to work with teams searching for bombs.

The force has previously trained drug sniffer dogs for Hong Kong and bomb-search dogs for Russia.
