Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is inviting dog and cat lovers to join them at their Annual Christmas Reception, held at The Long Gallery, Lancaster House on the evening of Thursday 15 December.

At a venue steeped in history, guests will have a chance to marvel at the glamourous Long Gallery; usually closed to the public and originally commissioned by the grand old Duke of York.

Guests will have a rare opportunity to meet the many Battersea dogs currently awaiting new homes, plus they'll be able to take their chances at winning a fantastic holiday. Up for grabs at this year's raffle is a seven night luxury accommodation break at Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives, three nights bed and breakfast for two at Badrutt's Palace Hotel in St Moritz, Switzerland, and a weekend stay at Grand Hotel Palazzo della Fonte in Fiuggi, Italy.
