DOGS TRUST ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT

Marchioness of Northampton takes the helm for UK’s biggest dog charity

Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, is delighted to announce that the Marchioness of Northampton has been appointed as the charity’s President.

The Marchioness is a life-long dog lover, and she has expressed great delight on her appointment. Her love of and enthusiasm for dogs shines through, and she has spoken of her deep support for the aims of Dogs Trust.

Speaking of her new role, the Marchioness says:

“I am thrilled to be appointed as the President of Dogs Trust. The charity provides an invaluable service for dogs, and particularly those who are sadly in the worst situations. There are thousands of dogs abandoned and unwanted every year, and Dogs Trust does a tremendous job in caring for as many as possible.

I truly believe in the charity’s mission that every dog should live a happy life, free from the risk of destruction. As I know so well from my own dog, Casper, a Great Dane, dogs give you so much joy, so I am so proud to be appointed as President of Dogs Trust, which is such a positive and caring charity.”

Clarissa Baldwin, Dogs Trust Chief Executive, says:

“Dogs Trust is absolutely delighted to welcome the Marchioness of Northampton as our new President. Her great passion for dogs is so perfectly matched to the aims of Dogs Trust, and her enthusiasm for our work will be an invaluable support for us.”
