After the success of the inaugural Heelwork to Music (HTM) competition at Crufts 2005, it has been decided by the Crufts Committee that this will become a regular part of Crufts Dog Show.

Rugby Dog Training Club will be holding a qualifying competition for the Crufts 2006 Heelwork to Music and Freestyle competition as part of their show to be held on 18th February 2006 at the Sports Connexion, Coventry. Schedules for this will be available later this year.

During 2006, a series of Crufts HTM qualifying heats will be held at Kennel Club licensed shows and a semi final will be held at the Rugby Dog Training Club HTM Show in February 2007, with the top dogs going through to the final at Crufts.

Kennel Club registered clubs are now invited to apply to hold a Crufts qualifying heat at their HTM/Freestyle Show during 2006. Applications should be made to Cathy Choules, Crufts Department, The Kennel Club, 1-5 Clarges Street, Piccadilly, London, W1J 8AB by end of October 2005.
